Y Aquatics and Swimming for Everyone.
YMCAs have been teaching people to swim for more than a
century. In YMCA aquatics programs, children learn to be
safe around water and they feel the sense of
accomplishment that comes with learning something new in
a positive, caring environment. Kids can develop
lifelong skills that can help them stay healthy.

Swim Lessons
Learning to swim at the Y is more than
stroke development. Children learn in small
groups of kids close to their own age and
skill level facilitating the students’
socialization skills. Our positive, caring
environment promotes learning and a sense of
accomplishment while learning how to stay
healthy while swimming.

YMCA Water Aerobics
YMCA Water Aerobics is an ideal form of
exercise for all ages and increases physical
strength and endurance without putting
physical stress and strain on the joints.

Piranha Swim Team Summer competitive swim
team for youth who can swim one lap of the pool. Learn
stroke technique with boys and girls in a fun, relaxed
competitive environment. Team practices two afternoons a
week during June and July. Travel to other local YMCAs
for meets approximately one per week.
