Our well-trained, caring staff
is our greatest asset. Our child care providers are well
educated, carefully selected, and the YMCA performs
detailed background checks on all child care staff. YMCA
child care programs are licensed by the Ohio Department
of Job and Family Services and meet or exceed state
standards. Our staff demonstrates a commitment to
working together and sharing skills to promote a child's
development.
Our staff strives to provide
children with an atmosphere of warmth, security, and
continuity. The YMCA provides staff with training in
First Aid, CPR, communicable diseases, recognizing and
reporting child abuse, child development and
developmentally appropriate practices. We also offer
staff additional training to promote professional
development through outside resources. Not only do the
children in our programs grow - but our staff does too!

Summer Day Camp
Your need for a safe environment for
your child while you are working doesn’t
stop during the summer. Parents can be more
distracted at work during the summer because
of the added worry for the safety of their
children. YMCA Summer Day Camp will relieve
all the worry.
