A State Licensed Early
Childhood Educational Program specially tailored for 3 -
5 year olds who have not attended school. Classes are
divided by age with 3 and young 4 year olds in one class
and 4 and 5 year olds who will be entering kindergarten
in the other.
The 3 - 4 year old class
provides a warm & nurturing "first time away from home"
experience. Some of the many activities include: Arts &
Crafts, Shared Reading Times, Social & Emotional
Development, Values Education, Creative Play, Dramatic
Play, Story Times, Pre-Hand Writing Skills, Centers
Activities that teach colors, shapes, letters, numbers
and much more! Students must be potty-trained.
The 4 – 5 year old class
follows a curriculum with kindergarten readiness in mind
and to prepare students to move on to the next level of
learning. Our curriculum for this class includes but is
not limited to: Health & Physical Education, Phonics,
Basic Math, Science, and Social Studies, Listening
Center, Shared Reading with Story Enrichment Activities,
Journal "Writing", Sight Word Readers, and much more!
Both classes have access to Y
Land, Outdoor playground, the Y gymnasium and open
swimming twice weekly.
