within his or her level. There are four
Preschool levels: Pike, Eel, Ray, and
Starfish.

Adult Swim Lessons
Participants will be initially
evaluated on individual skill levels, as
they work one-on-one with an instructor
throughout each session. Participants with
basic skill levels will work on becoming
more comfortable in the water and learning
front and back floats and glides, rhythmic
breathing drills, alternating arm-stroke,
and flutter kicking. As participants develop
or initially have the basic skills they will
progress into the more intermediate skills
of stroke development for front crawl, back
crawl, breaststroke, sidestroke, and
elementary backstroke. Proper breathing
techniques will be continually emphasized in
both the basic and intermediate levels
throughout each class. As participants
continue to progress with these different
techniques they will be encouraged to set
new goals and further encouraged to swim the
length of the pool (25 yards). |
