When I was a kid, my dad used to drive by the YMCA in Chillicothe. The parking lot was always full, and I remember seeing the other kids running and playing in their uniforms and swim suits and wishing that we had something like that at home. Now I’m a dad with three kids of my own, and I want to make sure that they never have to think, “If only. . .” Our initial campaign in 2001 was very successful in that it enabled us to build the incredible facility we enjoy today. However like many capital campaigns, not everything was able to be funded and some of our original vision remained incomplete.
